A Fun and Busy Week

 Hi again,

It has been a busy week.  The morning after we arrived we got tested for COVID at a Swab and Send site in Damariscotta.  It was a drive through, first COVID test for both of us.  Our campground requires a negative COVID test before we can check in.  We will get our results on Monday.  Meanwhile we are happily camping out at Joe and Lauren's.  Lucy and Penny love the trailer.  For them it is a big playhouse.  

Weather has been pretty perfect, 70's and blue skies every day and the same for the week ahead.  We do feel fortunate to be out of the smoky skies of California (and feel badly for everyone who is facing fires and smoke - we know what that is like).

Friday night pizza!  This is a weekly family event and everyone makes a pizza, even 22-month-old Monty. Pizzas were all delicious.  Lucy was the judge and declared Penny's pizza the winner (such a sweet sister!).

Tonight we had S'Mores made in the fire pit in the yard.  And after the S'Mores.....

We had fireworks!  The kids loved them and frequently applauded.  It was a very full and fun evening.

Lucy and Penny with two of the three cats.  Their names are Rose, Love and Sunflower.  However, Joe (who is allergic to cats) named them Sneezy, Itchy and Wheezy.  The cats are not house cats.

The chickens frequently hang out outside our trailer.  They may think it is a potential new home (with heat and air conditioning).
