Hello!
We have been very busy the last several days spending time with the grandkids and doing a little sightseeing. On Friday we moved from the Boothbay RV park to Lake Pemaquid Campground which is only a couple of miles from Joe and Lauren's house. Today we moved again just a few spaces from where we were and have a great view of the lake. Our little area has seven campsites which were all full for the weekend. Everyone left today and we are loving the peace and quiet.
The weather has been wonderful with warm sunny days. It is starting to cool off especially at night as we move into autumn.
Damariscotta River. It flows right through town and is reported to have the best fresh water oysters in the US. Ralph would agree (unfortunately for me, just like lobster, don't care for them).
Boothbay Harbor from the restaurant we had lunch at a few days ago.
Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens in Boothbay Harbor. This picture really doesn't do it justice. It is absolutely one of the most beautiful gardens we have ever visited. 248 acres of stunning gardens and this photo is after the gardens peak in June and July. People visit from all over Maine.
Wow-what a trip! Craig would like to be there with Ralph eating lobster. I'm amazed how much Lucy looks like Lauren at that age without the curly hair.
